Results Now Voice Thread

I chose to push myself beyond my comfort zone of writing and try to use VoiceThread this week. It actually ended up being a lot of fun, but it makes me feel for my students in my public speaking class. I must have re-recorded these four quote presentations thirty times, and they are still not perfect. I say umm way too many times, and in the last slide, I tried avoiding the word authentic, but it kept slipping back in there. None the less, I'm happy I pushed myself to use a new piece of technology.

So here are the links:

Quote #1 (B ) http://voicethread.com/share/1086539/

Quote #2 (page 13) http://voicethread.com/share/1086628/

Quote # 3 and 4 (It took me this long to figure out that you could more than one image on a page) ( page 40 and 52)

I hope this works! Please let me know if it doesn't.

  2. Gina,
You need to change the settings so that we can view your voicethread. Right now its saying it is private. I just finished mine, so I am not sure if mine works either, but I laughed about your evaluation of yourself and your "umms" I had a few of those with many "I thinks" and " I really...". I am sick of hearing my voice! See you Monday.

  5. Gina they all work. First, great job using a new piece of technology. I enjoyed hearing your oral perspective instead of reading it. You hit all the important points on the head, from isolation, to PLC's, to rigor in the curriculum, you see it in action and make many valid points with it. Well done!

  6. Wow, well done!!!! You are a great speaker! You make some extremely valid points, especially about having visitors in your classroom. I am also extremely jealous of your collaboration with your colleagues. It's great that you have such a wonderful atmosphere where you work with your department to build units and help each other. I don't see that happening very much at my school. It's something that I would encourage staff to do if I were an administrator. Again, nice job!!!!
